Information for Dance Studios
Looking to grow your studio and at the same time inspire the next generation by bringing the joy and fun of dance into Australian classrooms? Dance Up! connects DanceSport Australia Registered Training Facilities and accredited coaches with more than 9,000 schools across Australia.
It is free for participating schools, a genuine pathway for new students to discover DanceSport, and a real opportunity to build your business.
What is an Endorsed Provider?
An Endorsed Provider is a Registered Training Facility (RTF) that is registered with DanceSport Australia to deliver Dance Up! Sporting Schools activities. Only an Endorsed Provider can accept school bookings under the Program.
What is required
- Be a DanceSport Australia RTF. If your business is not already registered, apply through the RTF Application and satisfy the requirements of the DSA RTF Policy
- Read and acknowledge the DSA Endorsed Provider Agreement, and pay the annual Registration Fee
- Obtain, or be willing to obtain, a site account with OfficialsHQ
- Have a website and appropriate public liability insurance
- Maintain a current Trainer Register and provide it to DSA on request
Your Trainers
Every Trainer you engage to deliver the Program must:
- Be a current DSA member for the duration of their involvement in the Program
- Hold a current, paid Working with Children Check before delivering any session, and provide evidence of it on request
- Hold Trainer Accreditation appropriate to the age group being taught — Trainer Level 1 for Years 5 and 6, or Trainer Level 2 for Years 7 and 8
- Sign a DSA Trainer Membership and Compliance Acknowledgement, countersigned by the Endorsed Provider
Trainer Accreditation fees are available on application, because they depend on existing levels of accreditation.
Getting started
Existing RTFs can register as an Endorsed Provider from inside their DanceSport Studio account. Log in as a DSA member, open your DanceSport Studio, and follow the Sporting Schools link.
