COACHING & ADJUDICATING WORKSHOP

These workshops are designed to explain the requirements for DanceSport Australia Ltd accreditation in coaching and/or adjudicating.

DanceSport Australia, South Australia branch representatives will be in attendance to clarify the intent on the DanceSport Australia Ltd. accreditation program and assist accredited members in organising and preparing their students for the accreditation process.

Practical application of DSA requirements stimulates discussion about effective and ineffective practises and techniques.

The first workshop, dealing with the coaching accreditation, will be held on April 29, 2012 at a yet to determine venue and time, depending on the participation enrolment.

The Workshop Target Audience is

• Aspiring DSA Coaches
• Existing coaches wanting to upgrade their qualifications with DSA
• Coaches mentoring young aspiring coaches
• General members wanting to be familiar with processes
• Coaches wanting to gain CPD units (coach lvl2 and higher)*

These workshops are at no cost for current DSA financial members, non DSA members will be asked to pay a $20.00 course fee. Enrolments for this course will close on Friday April 6, 2012.
