Dear DanceSport supporters
As you may or may not have seen on the Facebook page, I have had further feed-back form both Channel 7 and SBS regarding my contact with showing more ballroom on TV.Both conversations were extremely positive. Channel Seven said that it would not be considered in this round of programming for the current rating season. But she expressed that as much feedback from other members of the groups would great support for the cause. Unfortunately they do not have an e-mail address that can be given out to you. They only operate on snail mail. So I would love to encourage you to send a letter to the Seven Network Limited at PO Box 777 Pyrmont NSW 2009. ATT: Programming Department.
Your letter can be as short or as long as you like.The more letters the better, if you can get your friends and families who support your passion to send letters or a petition from your local dance community? lets drown them in letters!
On the SBS front again that was even more positive, they are currently looking at what they can purchase and I did suggest to them Amercia’s Ballroom challenge as that is aired annually on the PBS network which they have an affiliation with.Again they are wanting e-mails from the dance supporters the more the merrier showing them that there are people out there who want to view Ballroom Dancing on TV.

Get all your family members to bombard both Channel 7 and SBS who have been the most supportive. I will follow-up the ABC who were going down the path of the ARTS but I want them to look at it as the Sport.
