DanceSport Australia’s International Selections Committee invites nominations from DSA members for the opportunity to be selected to represent DSA and Australia at the forthcoming Asian Pacific DanceSport Championship to be held on 1st to 2nd December, 2018 in Shenzhen City, China.
This event incorporates the 2018 WDSF World DanceSport Championship Formation Latin, the Shenzhen WDSF International Open Competition and the Asian Pacific DanceSport Championship. Please click on the link following for full details.

WDSF Absolute Judgement Course (JS 3.0)
DanceSport Australia and the Australia Dancing Society will jointly present a WDSF Absolute Judgement Course (JS 3.0) in Melbourne over two days on 5th & 6th December, 2018
The Course is highly recommended for all adjudicators who want to qualify to operate the new WDSF Judgement System and to be proficient in the corresponding methods of assessment. The course will also fulfil the main entry requirements for the upgrading of a WDSF Adjudicators license from B to A. Furthermore, all licensed adjudicators who attend this course will also be recorded as having attended a Congress.

Dear Members, Dear Colleagues,
In accordance with WDSF Competition Rules, ALL entries to WDSF Championships/Cups/Games must be submitted directly by the National Bodies to the organisers. No athletes are allowed to enter any Championships/Cups/Games on line or by any other means without the approval and consent of the WDSF National Member Bodies. This requirement include entries to WDSF Senior and other WDSF Open Championships.
Organisers who wish to use on-line registration may do so for other events and NOT Championships and Cups.
We look forward to your full compliance of this requirement to protect the WDSF Competition system and the rights and responsibilities of the WDSF National Member Bodies.

NEW – WDSF Athletes “e-Cards”
All WDSF registered athletes and those DSA competitors proposing to register with WDSF please take note –
WDSF are retiring the plastic WDSF ID-Cards and are using the new, digital WDSF e-Card - commencing in October 2017.
Athletes who want to join the WDSF can now apply for a WDSF e-Card here: https://ecards.worlddancesport.org/ Please read the instructions and follow them carefully.
Athletes which already have a valid plastic WDSF ID-Card do not have to apply for a digital WDSF e-Card. WDSF will send all existing and active WDSF athletes instructions on how they can convert to the new WDSF e-Card.
